Carlisle Events Presents HUGE Mopar Event
We are honored to have the Carlisle Events team as an Official Sponsor of our show, and this year they are Presenting our own 1969.5 A12 Roadrunner and Super Bee 50th Anniversary Invitational display. To say these folks are the consummate professionals when it comes to automotive themed events would be an understatement. With fourteen events taking place in both Carlisle and Allentown, Pennsylvania and Lakeland, Florida, they are always geared up and ready. With literally thousands of cars and a huge swap meet and midway, they truly have the bases covered. This week I am excited to head to Carlisle for the annual Mopar event, taking place this week July 12-14. Whether you prefer modern muscle in the form of Hellcats and Demons or the vintage muscle that we all covet, it will be there!
I am especially excited about the second stop for the A12 Reunion. The 50th Anniversary celebration kicked off in Minnesota with an excellent lineup and I am sure it will be even bigger in Carlisle! They have some special A12's, which are the 1969.5 440-6 barrel Roadrunners and 440-6 pack Super Bees in the "T" Building and another big group just outside. Several seminars are happening and a whole lot more. Since MCACN is the final stop, we are looking forward to meeting some of you that are joining us and seeing many of our friends, and of course we will be inviting more. We have close to 30 signed up already and openings for more, so let's make this another huge hit. As if that isn't enough, the Carlisle folks are also spotlighting the Winged Warriors and a "Summer of '69" Special Display. Yes...'69 is an awesome year for American Muscle and Carlisle and MCACN will both be commemorating the Anniversaries this year in a big way!
Congrats go out to the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals team led by Ed Buszeskie...I cant wait to see all you have in store for us! And a reminder for those of you that have already signed up for MCACN, whether in the A12 Reunion or any other part of the show. I'll have my trusty Nikon and would love to take some pictures of your car for possible inclusion in our new magazine. July is a busy month, as we will be attending Chryslers at Carlisle this week, the Chicagoland Mopar Connection Show and Swap next weekend, July 20-21, and the beautiful Concours d'Elegance of America at St. John in the Detroit area Sunday, July 28. Whew...as Lance Miller would say, "Life is Good!"
