2026 MCACN Feature Car
Presented by MCACN Official Sponsor TLC Restorations, Wisconsin
We Welcome TLC Restorations to our Fine Family of Official Sponsors
If you've been with us, you certainly know TLC Restorations, as they have shown numerous award winning cars and trucks at the MCACN show that they have restored. And this year they decided to take things to a new level. "Ripp" Rippberger and his wife Denise and their team started over 20 years ago, restoring a '59 Thunderbird and a '70 Chevelle from a tiny home based garage. Today they have three buildings with over 20,000 square feet.
From their humble beginnings, the business took off, Today, Ripp has more than 20 full and part-time employees working around the clock. "We touch and repair 125 cars a year. It takes 16-18 months to restore a car, that’s full restoration. The time is used to find parts, and it depends on the availability of parts, condition of the car and depth of their wallets," he said.
The TLC crew has shown some incredible cars over the years, including several Impalas and Camaros and some outstanding trucks, but General Motors products aren't all they do. A show stopping XKE Jaguar, several Mercedes, a beautiful '56 Chevy Gasser and plenty of Pontiacs have also been treated to the TLC touch. Attention to detail, consistent high quality and a commitment to working closely with their clients to create long term relationships is the key to their continued success.
And speaking of taking things to a new level, in addition to a considerably larger display you will see in the "big" room in November, Ripp and his crew will be displaying a fresh vintage 1971 GMC ramp truck with the very special '69 Chevelle you see here (also seen in Hemmings Muscle Machines!) that they played a key role in resurrecting, right in our main lobby. How's that for a warm welcome!
We are truly honored to have Ripp, Denise and the TLC crew joining us as Official Sponsors. There is no doubt that they share our passion and enthusiasm. Be sure to connect with them at the show and see what they can do for you.
VENDOR UPDATE: Same space vendor renewal expired 4-15 and darn near everyone who was with us in 2025 will be returning. Thanks! That means we have just a few more Commercial spots available starting at just $300.00 per 10 x 12' spot. As always, we are 100% automotive related! NO home improvements, NO Pull-Up Challenges, NO chiropractors, NO travel agencies. We are a CAR show and are not interested in hosting Non Automotive stuff, as we know you don't come to our show to talk about windows! To join us as a vendor, send information about what you do to bashton426@gmail.com. MUST Be Approved in advance.
LOOKING FOR: Again we received excellent response to last week's call out, so let's do it again. Looking for ALL the young hands-on enthusiasts for our Future Generation display and panel discussion to help us show that Yes Virginia...the hobby really will survive! Cars or trucks don't need to be showstoppers and can actually be "in progress" as long as you are truly a YOUNG and hands-on enthusiast. Also how about some more unexpected performers; Studebakers, AMC's, A-Body Mopar's, BIG cars with BIG engines (especially 4-speeds!) and how about some Cougars, Montego's or Galaxies and Marauders? Let us know what you'd like to show, whether any of the above or another example of Prime American Muscle, especially if it is a recent find or something rarely (or never!) shown. Please email bashton426@gmail.com with good, clear pictures and lots of information for consideration.
We anticipate another great show, as we prepare our return to the beautiful Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, (SUBURBAN Chicago), Illinois, Saturday, November 21, and Sunday, November 22, as our hobby is certainly running at fever pitch. Please help us spread the word by sharing our facebook and instagram posts and telling everyone you know. YOUR endorsement is the best possible advertising we can get.
